Now that the temperatures are finally dropping in Los Angeles, we can begin to pretend we have a Fall season! As most of you know, this 'season's' unofficial connotation is transitional season in which one morning you wake up with goosebumps shivering with blue lips and the next you could be swimming in sweat blasting the AC unit that is on it's last leg.
I embrace this time of year to mix and match Fall and Summer trends with what I like to dub 'LA's version of Layering'.
Since my personal style is considered a bit more bohemian and laid back, I instantly veer towards denim and decided to pair it with a patterned cozy poncho from Old Navy. When you layer with a pattern, keep the rest of the look basic. In doing so, you will have room to go bold with the accessories if you are looking to pack a little extra punch in creating your poncho style.
