Like a fashionable high school reunion, the kick start to New York Fashion Week is an assembly who's who and everyone wanting to snap a shot of them dressed at their best.
To start the week off, per usual, BCBG Max Azria Spring/Summer '15 collection was blissfully whimsical and showed more print than usual, which was pleasantly accepted. Still maintaining the bits of structure to the garments that BCBG is famous for, floral maxi dresses reminiscent of something you would see at a '70s prom graced the runway accented by gold embellished block heels.
Jay Godfrey, shown at the Hudson Hotel, brought a bit of life into his presentation with a live DJ and models perched on hay stacks wearing couture burlap-esque gowns with denim accents and fedoras. The ultimate hipster meets country look. So far, my favorite showing of ready-to-wear.
Desigual presented a major surprise when super model Adriana Lima pranced down the runway along side her other bouncing model companions. Definitely a shocker!
