Channeling Bettie Page in Venice

"I was not trying to be shocking, or to be a pioneer. I wasn`t trying to change society, or to be ahead of my time. I didn`t think of myself as liberated, and I don`t believe that I did anything important. I was just myself. I didn`t know any other way to be, or any other way to live."

I recently watched the documentary on Bettie Page, in which she narrated. It was fascinating to say the least. So much that wasn't publicised, at least to our generation's general knowledge. She went through so much and all in all, only modeled for four years! Four years and her legacy still, to this day, is as strong as ever, if not more so.
So I decided to channel a bit of Ms Page on this beach shoot wearing Voodoo Vixen romper (it's actually bright red and white).
Accessories are a Moroccan hand made hat I picked up in Laguna and my Daniel Wellington 'Sheffield Lady' watch. For another fabulous style of vintage-esque sunglasses, check these out- HERE!
