Flashing back to my old fashion school days while at the latest hotspot and creative space, Maker City LA. Located at the heart of the industry in Downtown LA, Maker City rests perched at the top of the old LA Mart where design gurus, buyers and brands have flocked for years.
The concept around this ultra creative space is to provide the innovative and visionary minds in LA a work and 'play' space central to their industries and locale. Drawing in photographers, horticulturalist, artists, designers and PR firms, Maker City has space for and equipment for talent to utilize all the way from a green room to sewing machines.
I took the liberty of shooting there myself to scope out the space for future shots for the site.
