I can't believe it is only the third day of my Southwest road trip with Ford's new Transit Connect Wagon! We have seen and done so many amazing off the beaten path excursions along the way. Being in a vehicle that seats seven comfortably and only having one photographer, one low maintenance assistant and one high maintenance style blogger was definitely the way to travel!
After an early morning start in Hotel Andaluz, who coincidentally enough was celebrating their 75th Year Anniversary during our stay, we headed off to Hotel Albuquerque to explore Old Town and its diverse dynamic.
We met some of the most interesting people in Old Town including Bob, the proud owner of The Rattlesnake Museum. (I just so happened to be wearing my snakeskin Tsubo 'Sevan' heels) So he obviously needed a photo with me!
Our next stop was to who is known as 'The Candy Lady" which is a front for what she actually does...blue candy meth! That's right, just like in AMC's hit show Breaking Bad, filmed here in New Mexico, Debbie Ball allowed me to inspect her cook and I approved! We will definitely be coming home and giving out our blue bags of glory (cotton candy flavored rock)
